This listing is for a pair of moonstones/rainbow labradorite in a spiral cage on a 24″ necklace chain. Inspired by the Turkish dizi show “Erkenci Kus” (Day Dreamer) these moonstones are reminders of the “light and dark side of the moon” which was discussed often in the series. In this delightful Rom-Com, the lead, Can Divit (Can Yaman) a handsome world traveler and photographer, carries with him a pair of light and dark moonstones. He uses them as constant “fidget pieces”. Later in the show, the light stone becomes a piece of special jewelry for Sanem Ayden (Demet Ozdemir), his eventual love match. This silver tone chain necklace features a 1 5/8″ long x 7/8″ spiral cage. From the center back neck of necklace to bottom of spiral cage is 14″ long. The cage contains 2 natural rainbow moonstones (labradorites). These stones are small, but, especially the white stone has remarkable reflective qualities and in sunlight can emit an opalescent shimmer. I’ve tried my best to capture this in photos. The white stone measures approximately 3/4″ x 1/2″ and the black stone measures approximately 1″ x 1 3/8″. The piece is finished with a silver tone lobster clasp. The necklace comes in a small white organdy gift bag with a metal “Canem” tag. Canem was the name that Can and Sanem chose for their business venture. Information about the qualities of moonstones, as shown below, will also be included. These moonstones are also called natural rainbow labradorite. True moonstones are very expensive! A light or white moonstone/rainbow labradorite, traditionally is considered a feminine stone, a lucky charm linked to the tides, the earth, mothers, emotions and the cyclical nature of women. Moonstone also symbolizes the feminine “yin” energy as well as love, hope, healing and protection. It is a wonderful stone to wear while meditating and sleeping to promote positive dreams. The dark or black moonstone/rainbow labradorite is believed to be a stone of transformation. It is said to awaken one’s innate spiritual powers, enhance intuition, psychic abilities and inner vision. Black moonstone / labradorite attracts luck, which is why it’s also called the Good Luck stone.
