Welcome to our Germain Sober House, a MASH Certified sober house in Worcester, Massachusetts serving women in recovery. This historic sober living estate is located in West Worcester close to Elm Park. Our Germain Sober House is a fixture in the Worcester recovery community, as well as our oldest and strongest sober living home in Worcester. Founded in 2016, the Germain Sober House has served countless women as they leave a clinical treatment setting and transition to independent living.

The Willing House

Currently employed by the Department of Corrections in the Reentry Service Division focusing on housing development. Serve as a committee member of Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation (CEDAC). Former BOD officer of Marina Bay Civic Association and several Condominium Associations in the state. Our vision is to help women overcome the financial burden of coming from treatment to sober living. The scholarship gives them a window of time to obtain employment and gain the ability to pay rent.

  • The Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Living is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to support recovery guests throughout Massachusetts and to practice national quality standards for recovery residences.
  • Referrals may come from Trial Court staff, Defense Counsel, the District Attorney’s office, and community partners.
  • One way you can do this is by developing strong bonds with other men in the house who are going through some of the same struggles as you.
  • Saving Grace is a permanent sober home for women over 18 that have at least six months of sober time.

Vanderburgh Sober Living serves our guests in a structured sober living model. Nothing in this section shall prohibit a residence that has not received certification from operating or advertising as alcohol and drug free housing or from offering residence to persons recovering from substance use disorders. Phil Reason is the owner/operator of Daily Living Recovery House, LLC and a recent graduate of Boston University’s Master’s in Public Health and Master’s in Social Work programs. His expertise in addiction treatment, public health, and research contributes positively to the mission of MASH.

  • MASH also belongs to another non-profit organization on the national level, the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR).
  • Provide consistent, fair practices for drug testing that promote the resident’s recovery and the health and safety of the recovery environment.
  • All community members are subject to random drug screens and daily breathalyzing.

Encourage residents to sustain relationships with professionals, recovery support service providers, and allies. Assess each potential resident’s strengths and needs, and determine whether the level of support available within the residence is appropriate. Opportunities for career growth and educational progress, including GED programs, community college courses, and training for trade and technical jobs. We also mash sober living provide resume-building support through partnerships with Quincy Community College. A weekly schedule details recovery support services, events and activities. Job descriptions include staff responsibilities, eligibility, and knowledge, skills and abilities needed to deliver services.

Release Recovery Foundation: LGBTQIA+ Sober Living Scholarship

The Probation/Parole Grant Program in Massachusetts is designed to support individuals transitioning from incarceration to sober living environments. Power Forward is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals in early recovery by providing financial assistance for sober living in Massachusetts. Their mission is to empower individuals on their recovery journey by offering funding to cover sober house fees and related expenses, ensuring access to safe and supportive housing.

Safe & Clean Sober Housing for Men

While it is our goal to one day expand the scope of this incredible project, we are currently able to offer sober living scholarships in MASSACHUSETTS ONLY. Support for job training programs and employment readiness workshops. Denise Donovan is an assistant clerk magistrate at the Boston Municipal Court Department’s Central Division.

The Massachusetts NARR State affiliate plays an indispensable role in supporting individuals recovering from substance use disorders by ensuring access to high-quality sober living environments across the state. Whether you drug addiction are battling for the Stanley Cup, or fighting for your recovery, you cannot do it alone.

As of July 1, 2024, the total certification fee is $425 ($375 for certification + $50 for the inspection). Payment of the MASH Certification Fee is required prior to your initial certification. VSL Chartered Operators receive mock inspection templates, pre-inspection checklists, and coaching to ensure they’re fully prepared.
